Dilburnu Nature Park occupies one of Büyükada’s most scenic coastal headlands and is valued for preserving the island’s natural landscape rather than for monumental architecture. The park is known for pine groves, rocky shoreline views, and broad panoramas toward the Marmara Sea and Istanbul’s skyline. Its simple recreational layout, picnic areas, and walking paths reflect the character of a protected urban nature escape. The site is especially appreciated for sunset views, sea breezes, and a quieter atmosphere away from the island center.

Getting there: The nearest main ferry stop is Büyükada Ferry Pier, about 2,700 m away; walking takes roughly 35–40 minutes uphill in parts, while local electric island vehicles or bicycles can shorten the approach.

Note: Wear comfortable shoes, sun protection, and carry water, especially in warm months, as exposed sections can feel hot by midday. Weekends and holidays are busier for picnics, so earlier morning or late afternoon visits are usually more pleasant.
