Maslak Kasırları is a late Ottoman imperial pavilion complex associated with Sultan Abdülhamid II and the court life of the 19th century. Built as a hunting and resting estate on the northern edge of the city, it reflects an elegant mix of Ottoman residential planning and Western-influenced palace architecture. The ensemble includes refined kiosks, service buildings, and landscaped grounds that illustrate the transition from classical palace traditions to a more intimate imperial lifestyle. Getting there: The closest metro stop is İTÜ–Ayazağa on the M2 line, about 900 meters away, roughly a 12-minute walk. Several buses also stop along Büyükdere Avenue near Maslak, usually within 200–400 meters of the entrance and 3–6 minutes on foot.

Note: Arrive earlier in the day for a quieter visit, especially on weekends and holidays when tour groups may increase crowd levels. Allow extra time for both the pavilions and the garden area, and wear comfortable shoes since the visit includes outdoor walking on estate grounds.
