Nakkaştepe National Garden is a large landscaped urban park on Istanbul’s Asian side, created as a modern public green space with panoramic views over the Bosphorus and the bridges. Its design combines terraced walking paths, lawns, playgrounds, picnic areas, and viewing platforms rather than historic monumental architecture. The setting is especially valued for its open vistas, family-friendly layout, and the way it brings nature and city scenery together on a wooded hillside.

Getting there: The nearest major stop is Kuzguncuk bus stops on Abdullahağa Street, about 700 m away, roughly a 10–12 minute uphill walk. From Üsküdar, buses and taxis are the easiest options, while ferry passengers can continue from Üsküdar Pier by bus or taxi.

Note: Wear comfortable shoes because the park includes sloped paths and large walking areas. Weekends and sunset hours are the busiest times, so arrive earlier for quieter viewpoints and easier seating in picnic zones.
