Seven Tepesi Viewpoint (Prince’s İslands)
Seven Hills View

About this place
Seven Tepesi Manzarası is a scenic viewpoint on Büyükada associated with the island’s layered historical landscape and the classic image of Istanbul’s famed seven hills. Rather than a monumental building, it is valued for its elevated setting, broad panoramas, and the traditional island atmosphere shaped by pine-covered slopes and historic summer residences. The character of the place is defined by natural topography, sea views, and a quiet outlook that reflects the slower rhythm of the Princes’ Islands.
Getting there: From Büyükada Ferry Pier, it is about 2,800 m uphill, roughly 40–50 minutes on foot depending on route and slope; local electric island vehicles and taxis can shorten the approach, with the final section usually requiring a short walk.
Note: Wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially in warm months, as the route can be steep and sunny. Early morning or late afternoon usually offers softer light, clearer photos, and a more pleasant climb than midday heat.
