Yaprak Dökümü Köşkü is a late Ottoman-era wooden mansion in Beylerbeyi, known to many visitors as the filming location associated with the famous Turkish TV drama "Yaprak Dökümü." Set among the historic residential fabric of the Bosphorus shore, it reflects the elegant domestic architecture of Istanbul's 19th- and early 20th-century waterfront neighborhoods, with timber construction, bay windows, and a refined villa character. Although its popular fame comes from television, the building also evokes the social history of upper-middle-class family life in old Istanbul. As an exterior landmark, it is appreciated more for atmosphere, neighborhood context, and cultural memory than for large-scale monumentality.

Getting there: The closest stop is Beylerbeyi bus stop, about 250 m away, roughly a 4-minute walk. From the Üsküdar side, frequent buses along the coastal road provide the easiest access. Travelers arriving by ferry to Üsküdar can continue by bus or taxi toward Beylerbeyi.

Note: This is primarily a residential-area exterior sight rather than a full museum-style attraction, so visitors should expect to view it from outside unless special access is available. Go in daylight for the best photos, and keep noise low out of respect for the neighborhood. Weekday mornings are usually calmer than weekends.
